Description:

Our itinerary will start from the Archaeological Site of Akrotiri, the most important prehistoric settlement of Santorini that remained buried for almost four thousand years. Entrance fee (€12/person) is not included in the price.

Afterwards we will head to the Red Beach which is unique for the red cliffs formed from volcanic activity. Usually the beach is overcrowded but a quick stop to take some photos is highly recommended.

Next stop is at the Akrotiri Lighthouse one of the first lighthouses of Greece which was manufactured in 1892, a stunning viewpoint for morning and sunset views of the island.

Next you will have the time to visit a traditional winery of our suggestion, where you can learn the traditional and modern methods of wine-making and taste select local wines. We can book you a reservation and ensure you get special reduced prices.

After that, we proceed to the Monastery of Prophet Elias which was built in 1712 on the highest peak of Santorini, at 565 meters above the sea where you get an excellent and breathtaking view of the whole island.

Before we reach our final destination we will have a stop at Firostefani village, where you will be able to admire and photograph the Blue Dome Church of Aghioi Theodoroi (Saints Theodore) that has been depicted in many photos of Santorini and has become a symbol of the island.

Our final stop is the beautiful and picturesque village of Oia, a place with charming houses in narrow streets, blue domed churches, sun-bathed verandas and plenty of tourist shops. You will be able to enjoy the spectacular view over the volcano and have a dinner (not included in the price) enjoying the sunset which is the experience you should not miss from your journey to Santorini.
